Building Happy Christmas Memories

Merry Christmas Dear Friends!
It seems like this season of thanksgiving and special gifts comes and goes so fast. There’s hardly time to savor the joy it can bring. Hopefully, you are building happy memories with your loved-ones; the luscious aroma of roasted turkey wafting from the kitchen, sounds of laughter from reminiscing relatives, and twinkling lights surrounding your home for all to enjoy!
Memories of holidays past can be precious for many reasons. Understandably, there are some things we would rather not recall, but there are always things to be thankful for. This year, count your blessings, tell the wonderful people in your life how much you care about them, and take some time to think about the joys.
This year, 3Rs Construction would like to provide for you a quiet moment to read through a favorite Christmas carol. You have, no doubt, sung it many times. There’s something about the poetry of an old hymn that is extra special when spoken. May its words bring you a new understanding and appreciation of this blessed Christmas season.
O Little Town of Bethlehem
Words by Phillip Brooks
O little town of Bethlehem
How still we see thee lie
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
The silent stars go by
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
The everlasting Light
The hopes and fears of all the years
Are met in thee tonight
For Christ is born of Mary
And gathered all above
While mortals sleep, the angels keep
Their watch of wondering love
O morning stars together
Proclaim the holy birth
And praises sing to God the King
And Peace to men on earth
How silently, how silently
The wondrous gift is given!
So God imparts to human hearts
The blessings of His heaven.
No ear may his His coming,
But in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive him still,
The dear Christ enters in.
O holy Child of Bethlehem
Descend to us, we pray
Cast out our sin and enter in
Be born to us today
We hear the Christmas angels
The great glad tidings tell
O come to us, abide with us
Our Lord Emmanuel.
